Black Moth Heavy Male

This was something I wanted to prove as an artist, so I decided to model this entire squad my good friend Adrian Majkrzak created. Unfortunately, I do not have the luxury of working at 343, Bungie, or any other place that does Sci-Fi content. Having said that I know I can model anything especially if you assign a concept. The workflow at my previous job usually demands us to adapt on the fly as far as concepting ideas ourselves, deviating from a concept or staying true to a concept. Throughout the process so far, my understanding of Adrian's envision for the squad has been a delightful experience. Bouncing ideas off of each other I feel like I have a full understanding of his design language, and I look forward to finishing all three! Rigged and posed by me 100k tris. All images Rendered in Marmoset. (Edit: I was not satisfied with the initial renders I released for the Heavy. I updated the project with new renders!)

The only aspect I deviated from is sculpting the shoulder pads with a more prominent shape compared to the concept. Adrian and I both agreed on this change to give the character more bulk.
